FN F2000
during the late 1980 until early 1990 FN Herstal began a new research for an assault rifle. The aim was to create a modern, modular weapon, and its resulted in FN F2000 rifle using 5.56 caliber (NATO or STANAG) with 30 rounds on it (both STANAG and NATO bullet). first displayed at 2001, this rifle offers almost all of the popular features for a combat rifle. with it's powerful EGLM 40 mm grenade launcher made this weapon as the best modular in a battlefield with it's 5.56 mm NATO caliber with 1.6 X quick-detachable scope.
using rotating bolt locking system, gas-operated, and built in bullpup configuration with AKM basic made this gun strong to get through level 2 kevlar and it's grenade launcher that has longer range than the standard M203 made this gun a real expensive but must-buy weapon
